Role: Programmer Analyst

Job Description:

        The Transportation Team is seeking a dedicated software programmer analyst who will be accountable for collaborating with business and operations to collect ship carrier requirements and cooperate with transportation technology teams to incorporate new carriers and ship methods into the network. As a component of the integration, it is necessary to create, construct, and sustain transportation documents such as shipping labels, carrier electronic manifest, and invoices. Additionally, you will be working alongside development on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects, enhancing our existing software, automating manual configuration processes, and documenting our systems.

            The impact of your solutions will be directly felt by our customers. This position demands that you are always ready to hit the ground running, and your ability to learn quickly and handle multiple tasks simultaneously will determine your success. The ideal candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and be able to work independently while maintaining professionalism under pressure. You must be able to anticipate problems and implement solutions that prevent outages. Accurate prioritization of projects, sound judgment, and a focus on improving the customer experience are essential to achieving success in this role.

Education Required: 

A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. The emphasis should be on the fundamentals of computer science, including data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, and coding.

Skills:

1. 0 to 2 years of relevant engineering work experience.
2. Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java (preferred), C++, or C#, or a scripting language like SQL, Perl, Python, XML, or Ruby.
3. Capable of writing clean code for basic data structures problems and algorithms in any programming or scripting language.
4. Skilled in recognizing and implementing best practices in software engineering, including design, testing, version control, documentation, build, deployment, and operations.
5. Able to comprehend and troubleshoot complex code, as well as identify and resolve application-level issues or problems with internal tools with minimal guidance.
6. Capable of devising simple solutions without over-complicating the problem.

The salary offered for this position is INR 10 Lakh with additional variable benefits.
